Behavioral Health Intensive Clinical Advisor (BHICA) Evaluation

Through this TA project, CHA evaluated their Intensive Clinical Advisor (ICA) Program, which is designed to improve clinical outcomes and reduce high behavioral health inpatient and emergency department utilization through case review, team consultation, and referral/coordination with external resources. Deliverables include a poster titled “A Retrospective Evaluation of the Behavioral Health Intensive Clinical Advisors program”, an article titled “Hot-Spotting High Risk/High Cost Behavioral Health Patients to Improve Outcomes and Reduce Acute Care Utilization” and an abstract about the study.
