TA Vendors listed in the TA Catalog were carefully selected for their proven TA success and relevant expertise in areas identified by MassHealth ACOs and CPs as TA priorities during this first implementation year.

Currently, the TA Catalog includes TA Vendors with expertise in nine TA Domains:

You may already have a clear vision for the kind of TA that would be most helpful to your organization – and if you do, great! If not, no worries! Initiate the TA Process

If you have decided on a TA project, you can initiate the TA process by completing a non-competitive TA application. The TA application will ask you to briefly describe how your proposed TA project helps strengthen your organization in one or more TA Competency Areas. You will also be able to request your preferred TA Vendor. Once MassHealth approves your TA application, you will be matched with your preferred TA Vendor. If your preferred TA Vendor is unavailable, we will help you figure out a comparable option – and you can begin negotiating the specifics of your TA scope of work.

TA applications for use of the current TA Card can be submitted from September 21, 2018 – December 31, 2019. All TA projects supported by current TA Cards must be completed by December 31, 2019.

Understand Your TA Card

In each year of the Massachusetts Section 1115 waiver, every MassHealth ACO and CP will receive a “TA Card” with an allocation of DSRIP Statewide Investments funding to support discrete, time-limited TA projects. TA Cards can be “redeemed” for the services of any TA Vendor listed in the TA Catalog. Each TA Card is good for one year; funds not spent at the end of the year are returned to the general pool of TA funding for reallocation across all ACOs and CPs.

The TA Card years are as follows:

    • Year 1: September 21, 2018 – December 31, 2019
    • Year 2: January 1, 2019 – December 31, 2019 (this overlaps Year 1)
    • Year 3: January 1, 2020 – December 31, 2020
    • Year 4: January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2021
    • Year 5: January 1, 2022 – June 30, 2022

Keep Your TA Project on Track

The Quarterly Report for TA Vendors and the Semiannual and Final reports for ACOs and CPs are a quick and easy way for you to update MassHealth on your TA project milestones. The brief report form asks questions about your timeline, budget, goals, and what it is like working with your TA Vendor. The quarterly reports help us to make sure you are on track with your TA project and let us know if additional support is needed to stay on target to accomplish your goals for the year. We will remind you when it is time to complete your Semiannual Report.
