Collecting Provider and Staff Feedback on ACO/CP Programming
Provider and staff input and perspective is key to determining the success of a new initiative and achieving continuous program improvement. However, gathering internal feedback can be challenging and time-consuming, and staff may be hesitant to provide honest input to someone internal to their organization.
This technical assistance package offers an approach to gathering provider and staff feedback that will give ACOs/CPs actionable and context-specific for information. ICH will facilitate up to three discussions with ACO/CP planners/managers to define key program objectives and components. Based on these discussions, ICH staff will design data collection and provider/staff recruitment protocols. ICH will conduct up to four provider/staff focus groups and will perform thematic analysis of the focus group discussions. ICH will deliver a brief (5-7 pages) report to the ACO detailing findings and recommendations for program improvement.
This TA package can be customized to fit any ACO/CP program that would benefit from provider/staff feedback and recommendations for program implementation and improvement. ACOs/CPs may also choose to combine this offering with other ICH TA offerings to create a more comprehensive assessment.
The focus groups can be in-person or virtual depending on current guidance on pandemic safety.
